Edit a sales invoice

Edit a sales invoice

If you would like to edit a sales invoice that has already been raised, in the sales section, you'll find an edit icon  in-line with each sales invoice.

To make an edit to an existing invoice, you can simply click the edit icon, make your changes and then save the invoice.

Once you have saved the changes, your edited invoice will overwrite the original invoice, so if you need a copy of the original, please ensure you do save a copy.

If you'd rather not overwrite the invoice and you'd like to raise an amended invoice in-place of the original, you might raise a credit note against the original invoice, then raise a new invoice, referencing the original  e.g. invoice 1023 amended. Please do so at your preference.
